Her heart shattered…
Her eyes watered…
As likeness slaughtered
And dislike gathered.
Was it a mistake?
Which made the mind shake?
Yes, yes it a shock
As none yet denied her stalk
Single, simple she is…
Twinkling, sprinkling she is
Smiling, rigging she is…
Singing free bird she is.
Don’t "dream " smile at anytime
It is scarce at all times.

THE CONFUSED MIND
O… confused mind
Never be a blind
Don’t take it as giant
Just chew it as mint
I have nothing for you dear
Except worries and fear
So cheer up with your near
Will always have my prayer
Life is not a cream
As we see in dream
It is like a stream
Which is full of scream
But it is true ,no doubt, I will keep
In my heart and never will sweep.
Never be a blind
Don’t take it as giant
Just chew it as mint
I have nothing for you dear
Except worries and fear
So cheer up with your near
Will always have my prayer
Life is not a cream
As we see in dream
It is like a stream
Which is full of scream
But it is true ,no doubt, I will keep
In my heart and never will sweep.

ORMAYIL VIRIUNNA PUUVINU......4 PART
I was surprised to hear the voice of flower at the other end.The last call made by flower was intended to congratulate me for passing the whole examinations at the in first chance itself .
.The flower was so happy to hear that i am interested to attend some training programmes soon.I said, if only my leave application is rejected once again,i will go for it, otherwise i will go for research.
once again i recalled the interview scene .i was selected from the merit list for the course at utopian university. But,fate has ordained me to join for another course at UIT.
I saw flower there............. and now....
my confusion is doubled.....
"there can be fragrance for the flower which blooms in the memory?"
but............... is it true?.....
"take care to get what you like ,otherwise you will be forced to like what you get."
"what's in a name?that
which we call a rose
by any other word would
smell as sweet"

POLONIUM:THE KILLER ISOTOPE
Let us wait for the outcome of investigations by the Law and Enforcement communities of various countries on the mysterious death of Ex-KGB spy Alexander Litvinenko in London. The Scotland Yard considers his death as “murder” as his death is due to poisoning from polonium-210, which was confirmed by British authorities. The detectives are in hunt for the source from which polonium might have come from.
Litvinenko, a fierce critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin, began complaining of feeling ill on Nov.1 2006.He died three weeks later from radiation poisoning.
POLONIUM
It is a highly reactive silver-grey metal. It exits in simple cubic array with six bonds/atom. Polonium was first discovered by Madame Curie in 1898.It has 25 known isotopes, all of them are radioactive. Polonium is found in Uranium ores at about 100 micrograms/metric ton. It is also found in tobacco leaves grown with Phosphate fertilizers.
POLONIUM:USES
Polonium is used in the manufacture of antistatic brushes and antistatic fans which can remove fine dust particles from optical lenses, advanced laboratory weighing equipments, etc. It is used in research as a source of alpha radiation and has been alloyed with other metals such as Beryllium to produce a transferable neutron source. Polonium was used in the space programs of both United States and former Soviet Union. During World War II, It was used in the Manhattan Project by US as a triggering device in the Fatman atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki, Japan.
Radionuclides: Biological Effects
The biological effects of internally deposited radionuclides depend greatly on the activity and the biodistribution and removal rates of the radioisotope. It may also depend on the chemical toxicity.
POLONIUM-210
It is an alpha emitter. It decays directly to its daughter isotope Pb-206.Po-210 is commercially produced by neutron bombardment of Bismuth-209 isotopes. Po-210 has a half-life of 138.39 days.
Po-210:Chemical and Toxic Nature
It readily dissolves in dilute acids, but slightly in alkalis. Polonium is around 5 million times toxic than hydrogen cyanide. The oral LD50 for Po-210 is about 50 nanogram compared to 250 mg for hydrogen cyanide. It shows intense radioactivity. So it is very difficult to handle. Alpha particles emitted by Po-210 will damage organic tissue easily if it is inside the body. It is not hazardous outside the body.
Regulatory exposure limits
The maximum allowable body burden for ingested polonium is only 1,100 (0.03 microcurie), which is equivalent to a particle weighing only 6.8 picograms. The maximum permissible workplace concentration of airborne 210Po is about 10 Bq/m3 (3 × 10-10 µCi/cm3). The Biological half life of polonium in humans is 30 to 50 days. The target organs for polonium in humans are the spleen and liver.
INJECTING POLONIUM TO HUMANS
In 1944 at the University of Rochester in New york ,tracer amounts of radioactive Po-210 were injected into four hospitalized humans and ingested by a fifth as reported in “secrecy News” site by Federation of American Scientists Project on Government Secrecy.
POLONIUM POISONING: A FLASH BACK
Irene joliot-curie was the first person ever to die when accidently exposed to polonium when a sealed capsule of the element exploded on her laboratory bench.A decade later she died in Paris from Leukemia. But Alexander Litvinenko is the first person ,as per radiation experts who died of acute radiation effects of polonium. According to one version, many death cases in Israel during 1957-1969 were caused by Po-210.
BIO DOSIMETRY
Biological dosimetry plays an important role in the assessment of radiation –absorbed dose. In most of the accidental conditions the information on physical dosimetry is rarely available. Although number of biological indicators are available for dose estimate such as persistence of prodromal syndrome, hematological changes, etc. Cytogenic technique in peripheral blood lymphocytes using chromosome aberration analysis play an important method for estimation of dose.
POLONIUM IN LITVINENKO ISSUE
The quantity of PO-210 used for killing litvinenko may be a few millicuries or a few tenths of a microgram as said by Roger Cox ,Director U.K’s Centre for Radiation Chemical and Environmental Hazards. Since the poisoning plot needs sophistication, Dudley Goodhead, from U.K’s MRC Radiation and Stability Unit ,says that the plot must have been “a high-tech operation”. German officials estimated the value of Po-210 dose used to poison the ex-spy at $25 Million.
CONCLUSION
Many critics and the news media allege the mastermind behind the Polonium poisoning case on Russia. The head of Russia’s SVR, Foreign intelligence service Sergei Lebedev denies it all. It is said that since Polonium, once released is like a persistent, invisible dye that marks whatever it touches, Someone who ingests even small amounts will leave an unmistakable trail through sweat and even finger prints. Taking advantage of this property of Po-210 the Scotland yard is progressing their investigation.

ORMAYIL VIRIYUNNA PUUVINU...III PART
THE DISTANCE BETWEEN IMAGINATION AND REALITY
O…dear…. O…my deer…
My dear flower……….
I cannot but love you dear
I like you dear
But is it fair, to tell
“I love you dear”
I need you near…
To love you forever
I keep you in my heart
Will “take care” sure
It’s a fact; no force can
Change you from there
But I am in despair
That it is too… Far
The distance between
Imagination and reality
Yes, it is. …It’s too far
But I hope…oneday
My dear will be near
A strong bonding doesn’t need conversations, doesn’t need togetherness. As long as true love lives in my heart, no doubt, my flower will not lose its fragrance.
